Special cargo transport prevents impending production stoppage

The ProAir Cargo team started the year with a particularly challenging project: important components had to be transported for an industrial customer within a very short time to prevent an impending production stoppage. The components were urgently needed to maintain an ongoing production line. Any delay would have led to significant downtime. Therefore, a fast and reliable transport solution was crucial.

The ProAir team coordinated all the necessary steps at short notice—from planning and coordination with logistics partners to organizing the appropriate air freight solution. Thanks to the close cooperation of all parties involved, the transport was efficiently prepared and carried out on schedule. The components reached their destination on time, allowing production to continue without interruption.

Transport highlights:

The transport took place at a time when established logistics routes were only partially usable. Restrictions on ferry traffic between North Africa and Europe, as well as traffic disruptions on important road corridors in the Western Balkans, meant that alternative solutions were needed.

As a result, the ProAir Group saw a significant increase in demand for short-term freight charters and time-critical air freight solutions.
