Tour of Sweden: Five Stops, Two Planes, One Special Service

A multi-day group tour through Sweden with numerous stops, hotel changes, and transfers—a special travel experience for the participants, but a challenging logistical task for the organizers. For this project, ProAir not only handled the flight planning but also worked with the participating partners to ensure that all segments of the trip flowed seamlessly into one another.

The route through Sweden took the tour group through Gothenburg, Karlstad, Mora, Sundsvall, and Västerås. Two Saab 2000s, each with 50 seats, were used for the flights between the individual stops. This allowed the guests to travel comfortably and efficiently between the various destinations.

Especially with complex group tours, the quality of the organization is often evident in the many small details. When flight connections, transfers, baggage logistics, and personal service are perfectly coordinated, travelers can focus entirely on what matters most: their trip.

Special Service: Your Luggage Simply Travels Ahead

A unique feature of this tour was the well-thought-out luggage concept. While participants traveled with light carry-on luggage, their larger suitcases were transported separately from hotel to hotel.

Guests dropped off their suitcases in the morning and found them waiting in their next hotel room after the day’s activities. No time-consuming luggage handling at stopovers, no suitcases on the transfer buses, and more time to enjoy each destination.

For the ProAir team, this required close coordination between flight planning, ground transfers, and the local service providers involved. The key was not only to ensure the reliable execution of individual flights but also to view the entire itinerary from the guests’ perspective.
