The ProAir Group is a medium-sized group of companies headquartered in Filderstadt at Stuttgart Airport. The business purpose of ProAir-Charter-Transport GmbH is the chartering and marketing of aircraft in the passenger and cargo sectors.

We provide aircraft management services for both private and commercial clients. In addition, we offer our customers onboard courier (OBC) service, air freight, and freight forwarding services.

To strengthen our team at the Airport Business Center at Stuttgart Airport/Filderstadt,

Aircraft Charter Broker – Cargo & Onboard Courier (m/f/d)

Do you have a background in logistics, air freight, or aviation and are looking for a new challenge? Are you well-organized, solution-oriented, and able to keep track of everything even when things move quickly? Then you’ve come to the right place!

Join our Cargo and OBC team and work with us to organize customized air transport solutions for customers worldwide.

Your Responsibilities – Variety and an International Focus

Charter & OBC: You organize and coordinate international cargo charter flights and onboard courier shipments.
Quotes & Negotiations: You source appropriate flight capacity, negotiate terms with airlines and partners, and prepare customized quotes for clients.
Customer Service: You’ll support our existing clients, further develop business relationships, and help us acquire new clients.
Operational Management: You’ll oversee transport orders from the initial inquiry through to successful completion, maintaining close communication with international clients and service providers.
International Assignments: When needed, you’ll personally accompany shipments as a flight rider or onboard courier and assist with baggage logistics.
On-Call Duty: Since our clients rely on us even outside regular business hours, on-call duty is part of your responsibilities. You’ll coordinate the schedule with your team—it involves a maximum of three to four consecutive days.

What You’ll Bring

You have completed a business apprenticeship and already have professional experience in logistics, air freight, or the aviation industry.
You have excellent written and spoken German and English skills.
You work independently, in a structured and solution-oriented manner, and keep a cool head even in time-sensitive situations.
You enjoy interacting with customers, communicate confidently, and possess strong negotiation skills.
You think entrepreneurially, act cost-consciously, and are eager to take on responsibility.
You are proficient in using MS Office and digital applications.
You have a good sense of geography and are willing to travel internationally when necessary.

Experience in charter brokerage or the OBC sector is a plus, but not a requirement. What matters much more to us is your understanding of logistical processes, your motivation, and your willingness to learn the ins and outs of our specialized business.
