Effective immediately, CO2 offsetting will be implemented

For climate protection reasons, CO2 avoidance should take priority over other measures whenever possible. If CO2emissions cannot be avoided, measures should at least be taken to reduce emissions as much as possible. Our efforts are supported by our environmental management system; we achieve reductions in CO2 emissions and offset greenhouse gas emissions that cannot be further reduced through high-quality climate protection projects.
To this end, we have prepared a CO2 balance sheet and calculated our CO2 footprint. The emissions calculated in this way—which include factors such as energy and water consumption, as well as the commuting patterns of all employees—are offset annually. To this end, we purchase shares in global climate protection projects—certified according to Gold Standard—that aim for a sustainable reduction in greenhouse gases and support the UN’s climate goals.
